ADC & Tuneu is an interior architecture and design studio known for creating spaces defined by a sensibility rooted in craftsmanship, material expression, and narrative.
Headquartered in Barcelona, with satellite offices in London and Miami, the studio works internationally across hotels, high-end residences, branded resorts, members’ clubs, and restaurants.
Founded by Aaron Clarke and Marta Tuneu, the studio unites Clarke’s experience in large-scale design and development with Tuneu’s background in architecture and fashion. Their multidisciplinary perspective informs a timeless approach to design, one that marries beauty with function and celebrates the integrity of making.
Partners in life and business, Aaron Clarke and Marta Tuneu bring together complementary perspectives shaped by their distinct paths in design, architecture, and fashion.
Aaron’s background as an interior architect — spanning early experience under Martin Brudnizki and a decade at Soho House as one of the founding members of its in-house design team — has given him a deep understanding of luxury development and, in particular, the operational needs of hospitality businesses. His approach balances creative vision with pragmatism and buildability, ensuring that each project is both imaginative and practical in execution.
Trained as an architect and practising as an interior designer, Marta later retrained in luxury accessories design before working with leading fashion houses including Louis Vuitton and Calvin Klein. Her multidisciplinary background has shaped a finely tuned sensibility for proportion, material, and craft, informing the studio’s layered, intelligent aesthetic and its quiet sense of refinement.
Together, they lead a studio defined by material honesty, clarity of thought, and a belief that good design should be both purposeful and enduring.
Alongside their practice, Clarke and Tuneu teach at Elisava University School of Design and Engineering in Barcelona.
